I am a quite well experienced software developer from Finland. I've been working as a full stack developer for seven and half years, with different technologies. I've always liked the full stack work the most, where I can develop software for the front and back end - no compromises!
The projects I've been working with have varied a lot. Some of them have been shorter prototypes and some have ended up as in-house tools for the business. But for now, I'm looking for new opportunities and projects.
As a team member, I'll do my part and be a fair friend!

October 2022 ->
I was creating the new OmaKanta webapp with modern tools (React/TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot).The frontend part with React included and gave much attention to accessibility, which was a mandatory element here.
Also state management was a key factor here, which made the application run fast and keep it stable.This project included multiple microservice applications that were running on Java and were hosted on Openshift.
Fondia 2022 - 2023
We created web applications for the Modern legal services company Fondia, which was rendered server side with NextJS and used Express and also a relation database (PostgreSQL).
We also integrated website components for the company to create and use themselves, this included a CMS system with NextJS. Also creating some micro services on the Azure part of the project (serverless functions), which included ElasticSearch also.

June 2021 -> October 2022
I was a doing full stack development in different projects, for example Shopify apps and company's own app projects. I was focusing on the latest React (Typescript) on the frontend side (with style libraries like TailwindCSS and Polaris) and on the backend side, Node.js (Serverless/Express as frameworks for example). Integrations on different systems, REST APIs and such.
Also cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (with its many features, file uploads (S3), DynamoDB and even speech-to-text captioning) and also Netlify as a platform became familiar.
Elastic Search and Google BigQuery gave good knowledge and experience as well - this included data visualisations and different kind of dashboards. User interface design was a key things in this development role as well!

February 2021 - April 2021
Worked in two projects. These projects used Laravel 8 (PHP) and React with Redux components (JavaScript), as well as relational databases. Also third party APIs were used. This period was shorter but great for my full stack skills! Referee person: Aki Auvinen, Account Director, Meiko.

November 2017 - February 2021
I started as full stack developer with a project using Node.js and Elm. This project ended up as a prototype after it met all the properties. Later we needed a tool for automation, and the project became a Symfony (PHP 7.2.0) project with a JavaScript frontend.
This tool is still in development and I've been adding new features to it when needed. A year later we started a in-house database tool which also has Symfony as the technology for backend, but now it uses React (with hooks) on the frontend. These are just some examples of my working history here.

This project tracks what the user has been eating in the last 30 days. It used the Fineli REST API which can fetch a huge number of different consumables.
The project was made using React/TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot and PostgreSQL as the database. Just click login with the prefilled crendentials!

I wanted to try some scraping and scraping a giveaway stuff sounded like a fun idea! The scraper uses the Cheerio library with Express on backend and React with Hooks on the frontend. The scraping is done with promises. The data won't be saved because I thought it was the best for legal matters. Also the traffic shouldn't be too massive so the scraping doesn't slow down the website that it scrapes on (Tori.fi).
This is purely a fun project and I'm glad it worked just like I wanted!
Project and task manager with Kanban boards and cards. Inspired by tools like Trello/Favro.
This project was for my Redux/TypeScript learning. Nothing too incredible, but good training because I made everything from scratch. Behind the frontend there is a basic PHP + MySQL stack, so every change gets saved, and it's not just static data.
